THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL!
Why are we open in one area of the hips but tight in another? Hips, where are you, anyway? This workshop is designed to help you learn more about yourself through your hips. Through discussion and exploration, we will learn where we are tight or loose in our hips (everyone is different!), how aware or unaware we are of our hips in space, and what emotions we dredge up as we begin to develop increased awareness in this area of our body. This class will start with a review of the anatomy of the hip, move forward with discussion and exploration of our hips based on what we learned from the anatomy portion, and will close with a 1 hour practice that is geared toward increasing awareness of our hips in space and opening up those “tight spots”.
Remember, your legs are attached to your hips: what you can or cannot do with your hips will largely influence what you can or cannot do with your legs, and vice versa!
