Weekend with Taylor Hunt

Taylor Hunt is a devoted practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga. He makes yearly trips to Mysore, India to further his studies at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) under the guidance of his teacher, R. Sharath Jois. In 2013, Taylor was granted Level 2 Authorization to teach and has had the honor of assisting at KPJAYI on several occasions. Taylor is dedicated to sharing the healing practice with others and providing a community where practitioners can find support in their practice and daily lives. Seeking to preserve the traditional method, Taylor teaches daily Mysore classes at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus and offers workshops around the world. He is also the author of A Way From Darkness and director of the Trini Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga with those suffering from addiction. He continues to inspire others through his story of personal transformation and accessible approach to the practice.

Dharma Talk Friday, July 19, 6pm - 8pm, $35

Join Authorized Level II teacher, Taylor Hunt, for an evening discussing the philosophy of the Ashtanga Yoga method. He will share his story and how the practicehelped him find his true path.Learn how this transformational and healing practice can work in your life and how to overcome some of the roadblocks along the way. This will be an interactive discussion.

Mysore Style Class Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21, 8am - 10pm, $35 each session

Join Taylor for a unique opportunity to receive individual attention and deepen your practice in a Mysore-style setting.

Asana Clinic Saturday, July 20, 12pm - 2pm, $70

What poses are you working on? Are you currently dealing with an injury? What are you struggling within your practice? Come prepared with your problem area and Taylor will break it down in this fun and interactive clinic. This is an open, interactivediscussion about your personal practice and workshop to work on whatever aspects of the practice that you may need clarity on. Usual suspects include: Marichasana D, Supta Kurmasana, drop backs, how to work through injuries or restricted movement, etc.

Second Series Workshop Sunday, July 21, 12pm - 2pm, $70

The second series is called nadi shodanawhich means to cleanse the nervous system. The series works on the subtle body by opening the channels allowing prana to move freely. In this workshop, we will take an in-depth look at the Second Series from alignment of the physical postures to the energetic qualities. Learn how to safely approach these challenging postures. Open to all levels but be prepared to work!2 hour workshop, $70

You may sign up for individual sessions as you desire, or the whole weekend by purchasing every session listed. There is no package pricing for this weekend event.
